In Making Connections the text and Companion Workbook have a different numbers of lessons. Why?

The Making Connections textbook forms the basis of the geography course, but there is a difference in the number of lessons for the following reasons.

  • The focus of the text is on issues so for students to have a good geographical education, geographical concepts and lessons have been added to the course.
  • Provincial requirements are usually 110 credit hours of work so enough lessons have been added to meet this requirement. The textbook alone is not enough.
