    Love this resource!!

  2. Homeschooler from Texas

I have a copy of the Africa unit study that you wrote and I want to commend you. I LOVE the missionary outlook of your study. The girls and I are SO very excited to begin your book next week! It will be extremely difficult finding studies on other continents that compares to Africa, A Land of Hope! It SETS the bar.

I just had to take a moment to tell you how much I appreciated your Africa. a Land of Hope curriculum! I went to Uganda and Kenya last January, so I was reminded of so many things as I watched the DVD…the slums, the courageous people, the impact of one, the responsibility we have towards our brothers and sisters…. I sit here with tears in my eyes.

Our family has now returned to Senegal and my daughter and I are doing a 3-month Africa unit using your materials. We loved Listening for Lions and my husband and Rachel are enjoying Beverly Naidoo’s books as well. Your unit study is wonderful and the internet links are a great resource too!

My son Arno just finished working through your book ‘Africa – a Land of Hope’. I want to congratulate you on a great curriculum, especially how you gave attention to the social plight of the African peoples.

I have been using Donna Ward’s books for years now and have never been disappointed. This term I began to use the Africa: A land of hope and have been once again blown away. Donna has laid everything out so beautifully, making my job so much easier. Her extra book suggestions are a highlight and always have my kids gripped. I would have never been exposed to these books otherwise. Thank you, Donna. I have also misplaced files in the past (Government curriculum), and Donna resent it to me with no questions asked – even though it was clearly my error. Again, thank you!

I have to say, Bravo! I love the format with the resources at the beginning of each section. You have included a manageable amount of information, and I especially appreciate the “values” emphasis included with each chapter. Even your maps and notebook pages are great – very similar to what I like to do! Even before the booka arrived, I read Cry, the Beloved Country (recommended in your materials list I kept from last year), and was deeply impacted by it. Thank you for producing such great material.
